Cenacle Goes Green

The Cenacle is excited to announce that we have taken a number of steps to green our facility as we strive to be good stewards of God’s creation.

We replaced an inefficient boiler with a far more efficient one, significantly decreasing the energy used to heat our building. We installed hundreds of compact fluorescent light bulbs in place of incandescents. We have eliminated Styrofoam and plastic as much as possible with our food services. Finally, we have replaced all showerheads to low flow ones, reducing our water consumption. 

While we recognize that we still have a long way to go, we are proud of these steps we are taking and look for further ways to reduce our carbon, energy, and water footprints.
