The Cenacle Retreat and Conference Center is honored to have over twenty pieces of Richard Bough's work on loan throughout our building. We are grateful for his generosity in sharing his gifts with the Cenacle sisters, staff and countless guests. 

Richard Bough, MFA, has a strong commitment to incorporating artistic expression with spritual direction.  A graduate of the Institute for Spiritual Companionship, he has taught "Art and Spiritual Direction" and Loyola University of Chicago and "The Artist's Spirit" at Seabury Western Theological Seminary.  His publications are in Presence and Listen.  In 2009, he made his fourth presentation at the Spiritual Directors International Conference focused on creativity and spirituality.
