Hidden Riches

Isaiah 45:3

All my life I'm busy sowing
seeds to please my Lord, by vow;
but that He had hidden riches
I've discovered only now.


Hidden riches: those of sorrow
turn to gold in His good time.
Hidden riches: those so shining
I clasp them as gifts sublime.


He is Lord: more hidden treasures
are the future ones He knows.
Now He draws me to just BE
in His presence as He sows
hidden riches.

In the month of November, we are especially mindful of all that we are grateful for. May we be open to the “hidden riches” that our Divine Creator desires to reveal to us today and each day. What am I grateful for?
