FAITH AS A FOUNDATION OF PRAYER AND MEDITATION
Led by Sr. Esther Cribben, r.c.

Faith is a small seed like the mustard seed that grows up into a large-sized bush of many branches.
During this retreat we can look to our own experiences of faith and be reminded by some scripture texts of our own dispositions. We learn to find relaxation.
We seek solitude as desired of God in prayer. Some signs of mature faith are the peace and presence of quiet meditation as preferred.
No matter what our disposition: trouble, happiness or joy, sorrow, fun, confusion we start there and move along with God’s spirit.
Finally we deal with forgiveness from the heart when possible. It is the Spirit of Jesus’ words in scripture that helps us find what we seek.

Full retreat: $175 Commuter: $135   Deposit: $50

Sr. Esther Cribben, r.c. is a Cenacle Sister with over forty years experience in retreat and spiritual direction ministry.
She has given multiple seminars on “Dreams in Spirituality” and uses dream interpretation in spiritual guidance. She is trained in the Progoff Journal method as well as is very familiar with the Jungian process.
Most recently Sister  Esther has studied cultural spirituality and the new cosmology.
Before coming to the Lantana Cenacle, she resided at the Houston, TX Cenacle where she led several dreamwork seminars and has taught a seminar in “Earth Awareness Spirituality.”
