Ann Frearson - Cenacle Auxiliary

In 1996, I made my first retreat at the Cenacle in Lantana, FL. Almost immediately, I felt Jesus inviting me into a deeper relationship with Him. My spiritual director guided me to discover my Auxiliary vocation as a laywoman living the vows of poverty, consecrated celibacy, and obedience in the ordinary milieu of my life. The vows are my way of loving God. They are a gift of my whole being to Him in response to His immeasurable love for me. The vows permeate my life. As an Auxiliary of the Cenacle, I feel called to make Jesus known and loved. I am blessed to work as a teacher in a Catholic school, which allows me to educate the whole person according to the gospel values of Jesus Christ. I am a member of the Emmaus group, a local group of Auxiliaries with members who live in Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. I serve the Auxiliaries as co-sponsor of the Emmaus Group, and as Treasurer of the Region. On May 27, 2006, I pronounced my Definitive Vows as a Auxiliary of the Cenacle. I rejoice that God has given me the gift of my Cenacle vocation.
