Saint Theresa’s Prayer

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are

exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities

that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received,

and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be confident knowing you are a child of

God. Let this presence settle into your bones,

and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance,

praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

 ACT OF OBLATION
Lord Jesus,
I unite myself
to your perpetual,
unceasing,
universal sacrifice.
I offer myself to you
every day of my life
and every moment of every day
according to your most holy and
adorable will.
You have been the victim of my salvation;
I wish to be the victim of your love.
Accept my desire,
take my offering, graciously hear my prayer.
Let me live for love of you; let me die for love of you;
let my last heartbeat be an act of
perfect love!

Lord Jesus,
I want to take part in your brokenness:
The brokenness you experienced in your life among us,
The brokenness you endured on the cross,
The brokenness you chose as a sign of your presence
with us in the Eucharist.
I want to follow you every day in this way.
As you were broken for those you love,
Let me be broken too.
Let my desire to follow you,
To do things your way,
Bear fruit.
Let your brokenness be evident in my living
and in my dying.
Let my very heartbeat express my love for you to the end,
O broken brother Jesus.
