| Details: | Just as we have a natural process to stop the bleeding and heal, our physical wounds so too we have a natural grieving process to heal emotional hurts. In these sessions we will slowly walk through the healing of a hurt with its five stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression (shame and guilt) and acceptance (discovering our gifts). Each session will close with group prayer for healing a hurt. As the emotions of anger, shame and guilt are allowed to be felt and loved, they serve us rather than continue as compulsive enemies. They become drives to give and receive life rather than drives further wounding us and others. As the hurts heal, we discover new gifts for relating to God, community and others.
Program opens Friday evening with registration beginning at 4:00 pm, dinner at 7:15 pm and will close Sunday after lunch.
$175 including $50 non-refundable deposit. |
