WRITING YOUR SPIRITUAL AUTOBIOGRAPHY
REMEMBER WHAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED AND HEARD   (Rev.3:3)
Presenter: Dr. Lee Prescott Ph.D.

Dr. Lee Prescott will again offer a three week course starting Feb 16, 2013. If you took the workshop last year, join us again as we go deeper into the writing experience.
New to the workshop? Join us! No need to have attended the previous workshop to benefit from this one. Both the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures urge us to “remember”, to “recall” and to “write down” what we have learned from God.
Over the course of the three-session workshop, Dr. Prescott will help participants begin, or continue, writing their spiritual autobiography.
In each session she will provide writing prompts to help participants focus on particular aspects of their spiritual journey.

Dr. Lee Prescott holds a Ph.D. in English and is currently an associate professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. Dr. Lee is an Auxiliary of the Cenacle.

PAINTING FROM THE HEART
CO-CREATING WITH THE INDWELLING DIVINE
Led by: Luciana Duce-Dugan , M.A.
10:00 -- 12:00 Noon

Explore the “divine artist within” in an open, imaginative, spiritual environment using various art media in a non-traditional way. Each participant will have the opportunity to discover personal expression that is intuitive, authentic and inspired by the Spirit. Sessions will include meditative reading, quiet reflection and group discussion. No art experience is necessary!

Luciana Duce-Dugan M.A. will direct a 6 week series starting in late October for those who wish to explore and experience art as a language of prayer.

Luciana is a working artist, teacher, spiritual director and retreat facilitator. -She holds an inter-disciplinary Masters of Arts degree including an internship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Luciana facilitates the Art and Prayer Retreats in Italy and France.

CENTERING PRAYER
Led by Mary Endruschat & Sr. Barbara Ehrler, r.c.

Centering Prayer as a spiritual practice helps to facilitate the ongoing process of healing, purification and transformation that is at the heart of the spiritual journey. The Cenacle Centering Prayer Group meets every Thursday evening from 7:00 -- 8:30 p.m. at the South Guest House 1400 S. Dixie Highway, Lantana, Fl. All are welcome.

Mary Endruschat is a Cenacle Companion and has been involved with the Centering Prayer movement for many years. Mary has partaken in workshops by Basil Pennington, Bill Sheehan OMI, and attended the John Main Retreat/Workshops.

Sr. Barbara Ehrler, r.c. has been involved with Centering Prayer for a number of years and has made Centering Prayer retreats and workshops.

A Ten Day Praying with Art Retreat at the Cenacle in Tuscany, Italy
will be held from June 11-21, 2013

Staff:
Luciana Duce-Dugan is a workin artist and spiritual director originally from New York, but now living in Deerfield Beach, Florida.  A multi-media artist, Luciana teaches painting, collage and art journaling.  She received her Masters in Fine Arts from New York University and studied extensively at the Art Students' League in New York.  Sr. Barbara Ehrler and Sr. Peg Lane are both Cenacle Sisters live and minister in South Florida and serve as spiritual directors and co-organizers for these programs.

Prayer Times for Individuals

A small cottage on the property of the Cenacle makes an ideal place “to go apart for awhile” to pray and meditate. Our grounds, the intracoastal waterway, and the quiet offers a wonderful setting to reflect on God’s goodness to us.
All meals are self-catered.

Directed Retreats
Directed Retreats offer an opportunity for prayerful solitude, in which you meet with a retreat director each day to share what has happened in prayer. The director helps you to listen to what God is saying in your life and where you are being called.

Private Retreats
Private Retreats offer you an opportunity for prayerful solitude for one or several days. Bring your own prayer resources or ask for suggestions for your prayer.

Days of Prayer
For shorter stays you may wish to make a day of prayer. You may bring your own materials or ask for suggestions. Time to see one of the sisters can be arranged.
Bring your own brown bag lunch.

Spiritual Direction Sessions

The Cenacle Sisters are trained as spiritual directors and are available to help others to grow in intimacy with God and to be attentive to God’s leading in our everyday life.

Labyrinth Days of Prayer

The labyrinth is an ancient tool of prayer. One of the oldest labyrinths dates back to 1201 and is found on the floor of Chartres Cathedral in France. This walking prayer helps us to use the metaphors reflected on during our walk to give new insights and understandings for the journey.

The Cenacle has a canvas labyrinth which can be taken to parishes or other gathering places.
