We live in a culture that does not know what to do with being still or silent. As Mother Teresa observed, “God is rarely found in the midst of noise; instead, He is the friend of silence.” Let’s make an effort to meet Him in our stillness and just be.
This 90 minute online retreat, facilitated by Joan McGovern, is one of three retreats in our “All Things Ignatian” series this fall. You can register for this or any of the retreats individually; you do not need to attend all three. If you’d like to sign up for all three, you may do so — and receive a $10 discount — by visiting this link: ALL THINGS IGNATIAN.
This retreat offers you the opportunity to recognize God’s movements in your daily life as captured in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Over several sessions we will delve into the spiritual tools which allow us to see God in all things. This first retreat centers on the art, gift, and need of STILLNESS. This retreat is a dialogue between facilitator and retreatants.
*Retreat materials and the Zoom login information will not be provided until 5 business days prior to an event.*
