Everyone dreams but many of our dreams are quickly forgotten. Some dreams feel significant, packed with a powerful message, a wise warning or important teaching; others bring confusion, discomfort or frighten us to the bone. However you experience your dreams, the critical aspect is the awareness that Your Dreams Matter .
Dreaming has a long history. From Joseph and Solomon in the Old Testament to the Wise Men and Joseph in the New Testament we can see where God spoke to people through their dreams. Some were prophetic, others were given a warning. The noted psychiatrists Freud and Carl Jung explored the significance of dreams and wrote endless journals on their importance.
In this 4 week workshop, we will look closely at the concept of dreams and why they matter. Through the use of Active Imagination, writing, prompts and the use of art materials, we will explore our dream in a safe, small group setting. You will learn how to engage your dreams and awaken to a deeper understanding of their intentions.

About the Facilitator:
Luciana Duce-Dugan is a classically trained Fine Artist, Spiritual Director , Writer and Retreat Facilitator. She holds an inter-disciplinary Master of Arts Degree from a joint program of the Institute of Fine Arts in NYC, The Graduate Faculty of the New School and an internship at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She received her certification in Spiritual Direction from St. Thomas University, Miami. She encourages all her students to discover their unique creative gifts and authentic artist’s “voice.” For over 15 years, Luciana facilitated the annual Cenacle Art & Prayer retreat and painting workshops in France and Tuscany. Currently Luciana teaches various art prayer and poetry workshops on the Cenacle Zoom platform.
