Becoming a Wounded Healer
7pm Friday - 1:30 pm Sunday
The second half of life is to let God transform our emotional and spiritual wounds into the gifts of compassion and wisdom that will create a better world for the next generation. This weekend will allow time for wounds to heal where we feel we have been hurt by others, our own mistakes and even by God. We will then become wounded healers.
Minimum Offering: $185 includes overnight accommodations and 5 meals.

Though St. Rose of Lima is known for her life of severe asceticism, she also attended to the needy, sometimes bringing sick and hungry person into her own home to better care for them.
Nor was Rose isolated from the happenings around her. Her awareness of the suffering of others often led her to protest against some of the oppressive practices of the Spanish overlords.
Saint Rose is the patroness of South America, the Phillipines and several groups of peoples including indigenous people of the Americas, the people of Lima and of Gardeners and Florists.
The Morning of Prayer will include: Prayer and Ritual; Presentation and Experience; and time for quiet reflection and sharing.

Forgiveness for ourselves is essential to our well-being. To forgive too soon may be to side-step opportunities for growth. To forgive too late may cause more hurt and regret. The timeliness of God's greatest gift of forgiveness can make all the difference.

Come to pray over the texts of the liturgies to enter into the events described in the scriptures.

We proclaim Jesus as our Lord,
The Way that leads to the fullness of life,
The Truth that cannot be silenced,
The Final Word of a gracious God,
The one who calls us to life beyond the tomb.
