Sr. Margaret died peacefully at Presence Resurrection Life Center, Chicago. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cenacle in Chicago and she will be buried at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Chicago.

The Cenacle Sisters give thanks to God for her life, witness and service to so many people. Let her remind us in her own words of the charism of the Cenacle:

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to her sister:

The Charism of the Cenacle: Its Ministry and Spirituality

The charism of a congregation cannot be defined – but it can be described through its ministry and spirituality.

The ministry of the Cenacle is to awaken and deepen faith through retreats, catechesis, spiritual direction and other means of faith formation. The purpose of the Cenacle is to help persons address the meaning of life and find their way to the peace of Christ.

The spirituality of the Cenacle blends the biblical mystery of Mary, the Mother of Jesus in the Cenacle, the apostolic vision of our founders and the Ignatian influence. The insight of our foundress, St. Thérèse Couderc – expressed in her text on self-surrender – gives this spirituality a special character.
