A 4 week series presented by Sr. Roselle Haas, rc

April 3, 10, 17, 24, 2016   Sundays 1:30 - 5 pm

Min. Offering: $20

Many people are familiar with the fourteen prayerful reflections on Jesus' journey to Calvary, the Stations of the Cross.  The early followers of Jesus also celebrated the continued presence of the Risen Jesus through the practice of the Stations of the Light, marking fourteen post Easter encounters with Jesus.

We will use various prayer experiences found in the book Stations of the Light, by Mary Ford-Grabowsky.

The series will introduce participants to these events through a variety of spiritual tools including ancient and contemporary meditations, reflections, writing and other practices.

Begin the Holy Week Triduum on Holy Thursday with the Mystery of the Eucharist Call to Service Formation for Ministry.  Jesus gave us His Body and Blood in the sacrament of Thanksgiving. As we share in this service may we be transformed into His true followers.

The Holy Thursday Celebration of the Lord's Supper will conclude with the transfer of the Holy Eucharist to an altar of repose and time for personal adoration and keeping vigil with the Lord.

Celebrant is Rev. Bernard Mulcahy, OP

Simon, Can You See?  Ash Wednesday Day of Prayer in Contemplative Silence

Growth on the spiritual path is always about seeing again - Differently - Deeper- Wider- With Fresh eyes.

To really see is a process and Lent is the right season to engage this process.

On this day we will spend time in the company of Jesus, Simon the Pharisee and the woman with an alabaster jar of ointment.

You will be the fourth person present, bringing with you the fertile soil of your  being, the burning desire to grow deeper in your intimacy wit Jesus.

The day will conclude with Mass and the distribution of ashes.

We proclaim Jesus as our Lord,
The Way that leads to the fullness of life,
The Truth that cannot be silenced,
The Final Word of a gracious God,
The one who calls us to life beyond the tomb.
